3-Day Masai Mara 4×4 Jeep Group Tour Kenya Budget Safari Find and book a 3-day joining safari itinerary to Masai Mara from Nairobi involves a morning departure on Day 1, a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with a late afternoon game drive, and an overnight stay. Day 2 is a full day of game drives, which can be split into morning and afternoon sessions or include a full-day picnic lunch, with an optional Maasai village visit. Day 3 includes a final morning game drive (optional) before an early breakfast, checkout, and the return journey to Nairobi. 

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
  • Depart from Nairobi in the morning, often with a stop at the viewpoint for the Great Rift Valley.
  • Arrive in the Masai Mara for lunch and check into your camp or lodge.
  • Embark on your first game drive in the late afternoon to spot wildlife.
  • Enjoy dinner and overnight at your Masai mara Camp. 
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
    • Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve.
    • Choose between a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch or split the day into morning and afternoon drives.
    • Activities might include searching for the “Big Five,” visiting the Mara River to see hippos and crocodiles, and keeping an eye out for the annual wildebeest migration.
  • An optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged for an extra fee.
  • Dinner and overnight are at your Masai Mara budget camp 

 

Day 3: Departure to Nairobi
  • Optionally, take a final sunrise game drive before breakfast.
  • After breakfast, check out from your camp.
  • Begin the journey back to Nairobi, with lunch often en route.
  • Arrive back in Nairobi in the late afternoon
